VH is proud to work with visual artists representing a range of work, ages, and experience, who work with buyers and collectors at a range of prices, including artists offering work under $500. ​

The Story: Vanguard House founder Parliament Neal always loved art - as a creator, an appreciator - but it wasn’t until she met her partner that collecting began to seem like a real possibility.  

​

Before then, owning art was for other people. 

​

Now they own over 50 pieces, almost entirely by contemporary Black artists from across the diaspora. ​

We need connections with artists, who are brave enough to stretch the bounds of how we view this world and share that with us. Artists need us to support their work and cultivate sustainable pathways for their continued artistry. These partnerships do not have to be for other people. ​
